Let's get together

Identiverse 2023

There’s a lot up for debate in the IAM industry—but one thing we can all agree on is that Identiverse is the one time of year we can all get together to knowledge share and exchange best practices.

This year we’ll be there as Platinum Sponsors at Booth #1403 with newly acquired, Brainwave GRC, a leader in advanced identity analytics. Be sure to stop by for the latest release of our Identity Data t-shirt and learn more about our new capabilities. Interested in 20% off the conference pass? Contact us below for the discount code.

MASTERCLASS

Getting Better Sleep With Analytics-Driven Identity Data Management

Is your identity data haunting your dreams? Are you losing sleep over the sheer number of orphaned accounts or the magnitude of over permissioned users? Are you working into the night manually clicking off user access reviews, or haunted by all the past employees with access who still remember their passwords?

If so, you may need a nap, but this session will give you lasting relief.

We will present an actionable framework and explore analytics techniques for improving data quality at an identity and entitlement level. By highlighting common issues with identity data management (coarse level group assignments, bulk-approval access reviews, role mining, risk scoring pitfalls, etc.) we will present a layered approach to deploy prescriptive and predictive identity analytics.

Attendees will understand how bad data leads to bad policy enforcement and bad security outcomes. We will build a layered approach coupled with best practices to successfully deploy analytics to mitigate access related risks and improve access management operational efficiency.

  • Date: Wednesday, May 31
  • Time: 3:00 PM – 3:50 PM
  • Location: Ironwood 2

How to Tackle the 4 C’s on Your Road to Zero Trust

From Presidential mandates to C-Level decrees, the call to start the Journey to Zero Trust has sounded. But, less than 1% of enterprises today have a mature Zero Trust program in place, which means most identity professionals are just starting down this path. Like any hero’s quest, adopting an identity-first approach means overcoming obstacles and these start with highly distributed, disparate, or heritage identity stores that are being called on to fuel the Zero Trust engines. The session will address the 4Cs of building this Zero Trust foundation: Clean, Correlate, Consume, Control.

Step one of your identity-first approach is to create reliable pipelines of accurate, complete, and up-to-date identity data across the enterprise. Policy driven access at the edge, on the network, across data sets and at the application layer requires an expanded identity profile far more inclusive than just AD attributes. However, as IT sprawl accelerates and larger attack surfaces emerge, identity information is now spread across legacy, hybrid and multi-cloud systems. The challenge is supporting multi-attribute-based confidence levels in a least privilege access model without putting excessive burden on your organization’s resources and end-users?

In this masterclass, Wade Ellery will explain how to unlock identity data so you can close security gaps and lay your Zero Trust foundation. With real-life lessons based on deployments at the Fortune 500, the DoD, and insights gleaned from the NIST labs, Wade will show why Zero Trust is within your grasp, and why it all starts with your identity data.
