Chris Young

Christopher Young is a seasoned technology executive who most notably served as Chief Executive Officer of McAfee, where he led the initiative to spin the company out of Intel as a standalone entity. Following his tenure at McAfee, Young was the Executive Vice President of Business Development Strategy and Ventures at Microsoft, where he oversaw major partnerships and spearheaded the company’s venture investments in cutting-edge AI startups. Prior to Microsoft and McAfee, Young held executive-level roles at Intel, Cisco, RSA, AOL and VMware.

Beyond his executive positions, Young has made a mark as a leading corporate board member, currently serving on American Express’s Board of Directors, where he chairs the Nominating, Governance, and Public Responsibility Committee and on the Board of Directors at Qualcomm. Additionally, he is currently a Director of Radiant Logic (private). He has also served on the boards of Snap, Inc., as well as Rapid7. Young’s deep expertise in cybersecurity and visionary leadership in technology are hallmarks of his background. Young has an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
