Michel Prompt

Founder and CEO

Michel is a world-renowned developer, researcher, and entrepreneur. Prior to founding Radiant Logic, Prompt served as Senior Vice President of Client/Server Technology at Knowledgeware, now known as Sterling Software. In 1986, Prompt founded Matesys SA in France, a company dedicated to providing services and database support. Matesys introduced the first “file-manager,” duplicating the “Apple Macintosh finder” under Windows 2.1 and sold 500,000 copies to IBM for academic bundles. Prompt founded Matesys Corp., in the U.S., in 1991, becoming one of the pioneer companies in client/server technology. Matesys introduced one of the first visual programming tools under Windows 3.0 for the client/server market (Object View). Prompt successfully sold the company to Knowledgeware in 1993.

Prior to Matesys, Prompt was a core developer in the database group of the GCOS 7.0 Operating System for Bull Systems. He also served as a consultant to Cap Sogeti Gemini, one of the largest IT service companies in Europe.  Prompt received his diploma from Institut Politiques de Paris (Political Sciences Institute of Paris). He holds a Masters degree in applied mathematics from Paris Dauphine University and received a diploma of advanced studies in computer science from Paris Dauphine University.

Dr. Claude Y. Samuelson

Vice President of Engineering

Founder Claude Samuelson brings over 20 years of expertise in the fields of directory services, databases, and development tools. He was previously Vice President of Research and Development at Matesys Corporation, where he produced one of the first client/server Rapid Application Development tools, which utilized SQL access. Earlier, he spent 10 years as Senior Developer at Bull SA working on indexed file management and transaction products. Dr. Samuelson earned his Masters degree in Computer Science from the University Pierre et Marie Curie, and his Doctorate degree from the University of Lille.

Dieter Schuller

Vice President of Sales and Business Development

For over 25 years, Dieter has been helping enterprises discover technology solutions to solve business problems. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Radiant Logic, he works with customers to leverage their existing identity investments to support upcoming business initiatives. Dieter joined Radiant in 2001 from Orbit Commerce (acquired by Digital River), where he developed a comprehensive sales and channel program that included direct sales, resellers, and partners. Prior to Orbit, Dieter was Vice President of International Sales at PLATINUM technology. Before being acquired in 1999 by Computer Associates for $3.5B (the largest software acquisition in history to that point), PLATINUM was a $1B systems software and services company with over 30% of their revenue attributable to the international markets.

Dieter was also a technical instructor for IBM and a partner at Greenbrier & Russel Consulting. Dieter holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business from Northern Illinois University.
