There is no question that the times ahead will be challenging. More than ever IT and, in particular, IDM teams are facing tougher technical hurdles and tighter budgets. Mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations mean more identity sources to integrate, more security requirements, more administration…in other words, more of everything. And of course, the expectation is to do more with less and deliver it yesterday.
There is a simple formula for success that I have learned from our customers; focus, execution, and vision. It has consistently brought success to their organizations and, as a result, has helped Radiant grow profitably and establish us as the leader in the directory virtualization market.

Virtualization has been making headlines with servers and desktops. More recently the focus has shifted to identity and data services virtualization, made possible by solutions such as RadiantOne that enable uniform access to disparate sources of data. But what is the next evolution in virtualization? Context Virtualization. Unlike data virtualization that returns only objects, a Context server extracts contextual information buried in application silos and semantically tags and translates the data and the relationships into plain English sentences. Those sentences are grouped into meaningful views, acting as contextual links across business processes. This enables information to be searched, retrieved and updated across application silos in the right context.
