Establishing a global identity allows VDS to expose user accounts with attributes from disparate data sources transparently to client applications. The new views are created using the RadiantOne View Designer. Compose views quickly and easily, allowing you to react to business needs instead of being constrained by the limitations of your existing data silos.
The Virtual Identity Hub (VIH) is a database table that stores an exhaustive list of identities and selected attributes from multiple data stores. VIH establishes a common index and reference list for all identities.
The easy to follow 7-step process of the VIH-Topology wizard makes establishing a global identity quick and easy. The wizard aids in creating scripts used to define matching rules, establishing that a user is the same across multiple data sources and to define attribute flow control of changes as they are detected by local connectors.
